..RETURNS AMAEFULE FOR SECOND TENURE.

National Association of Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers(NAPMED) Owerri Municipal Council, Imo State, has elected new leadership to pilot its affairs for the next four years.
ln a credible, free and fair election, Saturday March 8, , at the Old Township Stadium, Tetlow road Owerri, the Chairman of the Electoral C’ttee, Chief Loveday Marizu announced the victory of Comrade Anayo Amaefule, having pulled the highest number of votes in the election.
Amaefule who Chaired the Union for past four years defeated other Chairmanship Contestants by an overwhelming majority, thereby legitimizing his Second Term bid as Chairman of NAPMED.
Other Elected Officers are: Anthony Chigbo(Vice); Ibeh Gerald(Sec ); Kelechi Chukwuemeka(Fin. Sec), Nwoke Obumneke(TR). Others include Sung Onyemegbulem((Ast) Sec);
Ugochukwui Ireh(Chief Provost); Korie Onyedikachi(PRO);
Chigozie Onyeme(Provost II)and
Chidiebere Onyeagoro
(Provost 111)
In his post election speech Amaefule described his victory as a collective hard trick scored by all, for the advantage of all the members of the Union, without any exception.
Speaking further Amaefule thanked the State Government under the able leadership of His Excellent Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma(Onwa); Authorities and Stakeholders of Owerri Municipality for creating enabling environment for business men and women to operate. He averred that members of NAPMED have been compliant to business rules and standards as stipulated by government and its relevant Agencies, assuring that the Union will continue to maintain Trade standard and discipline to cap up, and lay impetus to the Union’s Motto, which is “Health For All”
My administration as usual will welcome constructive criticisms as a spur for better decision making, because no man is God who makes no mistakes, Amaefule posited.
He further commended those who contested but failed in the election for their gallantry and honest wish to serve NAPMED, while calling on them to come close to share their wealth of experience with the Executive, all in the spirit of Sportsmanship.
On the composition of his EXCO, Amaefule said that the Union has made the best of choices electing men who are abreast with the Vision and Mission of NAPMED, and has no doubt in their ability to deliver by Morals and Accountability.
Those who spoke to Newsmen on condition of anonimity said that Amaefule literally stole the day overwhelmingly because his First Tenure was a Win-win situation embellished with uncommon Transparency and Accountability.
